Game On! LinkedIn's New Games for Professional Fun and Networking

LinkedIn: Collage Created Using Screen Captures
Collage Created Using Screen Captures from Pinpoint, Crossclimb, and Queens.

LinkedIn's known for professional connections, but did you know they just launched some fun, quick games? I have begun playing the games and I'm officially hooked! Here's a rundown on why I enjoy the games so much.

The Games

  • Pinpoint (Word Association): You are shown five mystery words one at a time, all connected by a secret category. The goal is to figure it out before all the words are revealed

  • Crossclimb (Trivia & Word Ladder): This game combines your knowledge with your ability to manipulate words. Fill in a word ladder, where each word differs by just one letter, to unlock the final clues and win the game.

  • Queens (Logic Puzzle): Strategically place queens on a grid so that no two queens share a row, column, or diagonal. There's only one solution, and the clock is ticking!

Why You Should Play

  • Short & Sweet: Conquer all three games in just 10 minutes – a perfect mental break during your workday.

  • Brainteasers for Everyone: The games are accessible, but keep you coming back for more.

  • Friendly Competition: See how you stack up against your connections and your alma mater's leaderboard!

  • Share Your Wins: Track your scores, streaks, and even share them with your network to spark some playful conversation.

Ready to Play? Let's Get Started!

You can find the games directly in the LinkedIn News section on desktop, or in the My Network tab on both desktop and mobile. Here are some handy links to jump right in: Pinpoint, Crossclimb, and Queens.

So, what are you waiting for? I challenge everyone on LinkedIn to take a break, sharpen your skills, and connect with your network in a whole new way. Happy gaming!

P.S. If you're not already following me on LinkedIn, I'd love to connect! You can find me by clicking the following hyperlink: Kenneth Flakes.   We can chat about the new games, or anything else on your mind that's relevant to your industry.
